I can define myself in one word: sporty. Not only do I have a sporty shape, but also a sporty spirit. In fact, I have absorbed a fair amount of knowledge and wisdom during all the sports training and championships that I have experienced and been through; rebuilding myself was one thing I achieved, and I went from being a lost person to become the one I am today.
Respect is the base of my relationship with anyone. Therefore, I seek perfection, simplicity, and beauty in everything I do.
I now live a very healthy life, but this hasn’t always been the case. Before becoming a dietitian and trainer, I used to struggle with bad eating habits and a very unhealthy way of life. It was through dedication and hard work that I was able to get to where I am now. I’m proudly Sport Plus member since 2008. In a short period of time, I was able to combine different forms of exercising into my hobbies; I am a professional swimmer and tennis player, I play table tennis, run on a regular basis, do high intensity interval training, and practice windsurf.
I have always been fond of the nutrition field, and thanks to my mom and sports coach Sami Daou, I got the necessary motivation to pursue my dream job. From the very beginning of my studies, I have thought of nutrition as being divided into three parts: the body, the mind, and the spirit, all working together in order to reach the well-being.
In July 2013, I acquired my Bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut (known as Université Saint Joseph – USJ). I am now working as hard as possible to get a personal training and group fitness trainer certificate from the International Fitness Professional Association (IFPA).
